Senior iOS Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, development, and continuous improvement of native iOS applications, ensuring they comply with Apple Human Interface Guidelines and industry standards.

• Establish and drive scalable, clean, and maintainable mobile architectures that align with business objectives.

• Work collaboratively with developers, designers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver valuable features and influence the direction of the product.

• Maintain high code quality through thorough code reviews, testing strategies, refactoring, and comprehensive documentation.

• Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex issues related to performance, stability, and scalability.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and help ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and technical execution.

• Assess and implement new tools, technologies, and best practices to enhance development processes and team productivity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (preferred), or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 8 years of professional experience as an iOS Developer.

• More than 2 years of experience as a Senior iOS Developer, taking the lead on technical decisions and managing feature delivery from start to finish.

• Demonstrated experience in proposing technical solutions that align business needs with scalable and maintainable architectures.

• Strong practical knowledge of Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and Combine.

• Comprehensive understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and mobile architectures like MVVM + Clean Architecture and Coordinators.

• Proven ability to refactor code to enhance scalability, maintainability, and performance.

• Familiarity with mobile security best practices and related tools.

• Understanding of CI/CD processes for mobile applications is a plus.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.

• Capacity to suggest enhancements, share knowledge, and engage in technical discussions.

• Proficiency in English is essential for direct collaboration with US-based clients.
