This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Oversee the complete design, construction, testing, and deployment of intricate Workday integration solutions.
• Serve as the main technical integration lead for both new and existing client implementations.
• Establish and take ownership of integration architecture, standards, and best practices across various projects.
• Manage and monitor integration risks, issues, and dependencies; proactively escalate when necessary.
• Offer strategic advice to clients and service partners regarding integration strategies and roadmaps.
• Supervise and manage all integration deliverables linked to implementation projects.
• Facilitate advanced troubleshooting and collaborate closely with cross-functional internal teams.
• Guide, mentor, and coach junior and mid-level integration consultants across several projects.
• Assist in the pre-sales process, including integration scoping, effort estimation, and solution design.
• Create detailed interface specifications, field mappings, and system/process designs.
• Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies, including scenario testing and validation.
• Manage partner integrations, which includes setup, analysis, validation, and ongoing data exchanges.
• Coordinate cross-functional implementation activities, contributing to project planning, scope definition, and delivery governance.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Workday Integrations, including leading complex implementations.
• At least 5 years of combined experience in designing and delivering enterprise technical solutions.
• Strong expertise in modern integration technologies such as EDI, Web Services, XML, XSLT, REST/SOAP APIs.
• Experience with middleware platforms such as Java and/or .NET.
• Proven track record in leading integration design and aligning processes across stakeholders.
• Demonstrated capability to design, develop, and deploy production-level integrations.
• Solid understanding of ERP systems, data models, and concepts related to enterprise architecture.
• Experience collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams, including both business and technical stakeholders.
• Highly developed analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Proficient in tools like Excel, Visio, MS Project (or equivalent), and PowerPoint.
• Workday Integration Certification is required.
• A degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, HR, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
