Senior Integration Engineer – IA Generativa

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design and implement agent workflows using LangGraph for complex multi-step processes.

• Apply state management patterns, flow control, intelligent routing, and fallback mechanisms.

• Develop structured and reusable prompts with controlled variables and defined output formats.

• Ensure consistency, reliability, and adherence to best practices regarding privacy and observability.

• Design multi-repository architectures with a clear distinction between configuration and execution logic.

• Define and maintain contracts and schemas between components to ensure interoperability.

• Integrate agents and systems through APIs and communication protocols based on MCP and A2A standards.

• Evaluate the quality, accuracy, and consistency of responses generated by AI models.

• Ensure compliance with requirements related to tool usage and schema validations.

• Collaborate with business, development, and architecture teams to integrate agent-based solutions into existing platforms.

• Participate in key technical decision-making and lead initiatives related to Generative AI.

• Research and apply best practices in LLMs, Agentic AI, Prompt Engineering, and emerging frameworks.

• Provide technical mentorship to junior profiles and support team growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• English level B2 or higher (interviews and part of daily work will be conducted in English).

• Reside in Colombia and possess legal authorization to work in the country.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience as an Integration Engineer, Integration Developer, or in related system integration roles.

• Degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.

• Experience in developing solutions based on Generative Artificial Intelligence.

• Advanced knowledge (4+ years) in Generative Design.

• Experience in developing enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.

• Experience in designing and implementing agent workflows using LangGraph (3+ years).

• Knowledge of Agentic AI patterns: State management; Flow control; Routing; Fallbacks.

• Experience in engineering structured and versionable prompts.

• Knowledge of LangChain for agent composition, prompt chaining, and response validation.

• Experience working with multi-repository architectures.

• Knowledge of the separation between declarative configuration and execution logic.

• Experience integrating systems via APIs.

• Knowledge of Agent-to-Agent (A2A) protocols and standards.

• Understanding of LLM fundamentals, including: Output control; Model limitations; Risk management; Observability and monitoring.

• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in agile environments.

• English level B2.
