Senior Integration Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage inbound clinical feeds utilizing HL7 v2 message ingestion via MLLP, encompassing acknowledgment management, error queues, and replay functionality.

• Create outbound clinical delivery pathways through gateway-regulated egress within a default-deny network architecture.

• Implement FHIR R4 APIs and resource mappings in accordance with standard implementation guidelines, including terminology management across various code systems.

• Establish agent interoperability interfaces, including MCP servers, HMCP patterns for secure healthcare agent access, and authenticated A2A flows.

• Define integration strategies for stringent network isolation, including certificate management, mutual TLS, and controlled boundary connectivity.

• Collaborate directly with customer integration teams for connectivity configuration, interface testing, and clinical-feed transition.


⛳️ Requirements

• B.E., B.Tech., or M.Sc. degree in Computer Science or a closely related technical discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in healthcare integration or interoperability engineering.

• Proficient understanding of FHIR R4 resources, profiles, searches, and implementation guides, including US Core or equivalent.

• Practical experience with HL7 v2, including message structures, segments, acknowledgments, and MLLP transport.

• Familiarity with REST API design, OAuth2, and mutual TLS.

• Understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and/or Agent-to-Agent (A2A), or a proven ability to swiftly adapt to emerging standards.

• Knowledge of clinical terminologies such as SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10, and CPT.

• Development experience in Python or Java is essential.

• Experience with SMART on FHIR is an advantage.

• Familiarity with integration engines like Mirth, Rhapsody, or similar is a plus.
