This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Deliver the ATI curriculum to independent mechanical and general repair shop owners and their teams through live, virtual, and on-demand formats.
• Translate business concepts—financials, sales, leadership, succession, and operations—into practical applications suitable for a mechanical/general repair audience.
• Customize delivery style and content based on the format, audience, and experience level of each session.
• Act as the lead or anchor instructor for flagship courses and high-stakes sessions as assigned.
• Collaborate closely with curriculum and instructional design teams to ensure that mechanical content remains accurate, up-to-date, and credible.
• Identify gaps in content and emerging topics within the mechanical industry.
• Allocate regular time for researching advancements in the mechanical/general repair sector.
• Actively engage with industry publications and peer research to uphold current and credible subject-matter expertise.
• Mentor and onboard newer or less experienced instructors.
• Extensive experience in the mechanical/general repair industry, with a proven record of credibility among shop owners and operators.
• A demonstrated and sustained history of instructing or presenting to groups in both live and/or virtual environments, including more advanced or experienced audiences.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven capability to mentor, coach, or develop other instructors or team members.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• A demonstrated personal commitment to ongoing professional growth and skill enhancement.
• Note: Previous ownership of a mechanical shop is welcomed but not mandatory.
