This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Facilitate high-quality 1:Many training sessions centered around Informatica products, including interactive workshops and multi-day instructor-led courses, offered both virtually and in person — as public and private sessions.
• Convert intricate technical ideas (data integration, cloud data management, RDBMS, ETL/ELT workflows) into understandable and engaging learning experiences for audiences with diverse expertise levels.
• Conduct engaging and interactive sessions that promote audience participation, discussion, and practical application.
• Assist in gathering customer requirements prior to training, comprehend business needs, and customize training agendas accordingly.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers by providing best practices, technical insights, and recommendations for adoption.
• Support training participants in accessing remote training environments, collaborating with customer technical staff as necessary.
• Collaborate across various teams including Curriculum Development, Customer Success, and Product Management to enhance learning experiences — encompassing testing labs, reviewing course content, and offering feedback to curriculum developers.
• Share expertise with fellow instructors, developers, technical support staff, and other technical personnel.
• Remain updated on Informatica innovations, enterprise data trends, and contemporary learning methodologies.
• Over 3 years of relevant professional experience in a technical, enablement, educational, or customer-facing position.
• Proven technical proficiency with enterprise systems, platforms, or software products — particularly in data integration, data warehousing, or similar fields.
• Exceptional public speaking and presentation abilities, with experience leading workshops, training sessions, or customer interactions.
• Quick to acquire new technologies and articulate them in a structured, engaging manner.
• Experience in delivering learning experiences virtually or in-person using collaboration platforms (e.g., Zoom, WebEx).
• Comfortable in facilitating live demonstrations, hands-on activities, and interactive discussions — including real-time troubleshooting and debugging.
• Familiarity with RDBMS technologies (e.g., DB2, SQL Server, Teradata) and a working knowledge of SQL.
• Knowledge of Windows and/or UNIX operating systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, adapt in real-time, and perform well in dynamic customer settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
