Senior Instructional Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee, manage, and assist in the development of both instructor-led and virtual learning materials.

• Work in partnership with government entities, subject matter experts, and instructional designers to gather necessary requirements and create training programs and content.

• Plan, create, manage, and assess in-person, online, and hybrid software training initiatives.

• Design and craft engaging learning experiences focused on software implementation.

• Utilize webinars, web-based training, instructor-led sessions, user guides, and online help systems.

• Transform training materials and documentation into products that comply with Section 508 standards.

• Provide support across multiple GDIT contracts.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

• Strong understanding and application of all phases of the ADDIE process.

• Knowledge and application of adult learning principles.

• Familiarity with Section 508 compliance.

• Experience in converting training materials and documentation into Section 508-compliant formats.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory; permanent residents are not eligible.

• Must successfully complete a full CBP Tier 4 background check before beginning employment.

• No current or obtainable clearance is required.

• Travel is required at less than 10%.

• Standard weekly hours: 40.
