Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Core Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement advanced infrastructure platforms across both private and public cloud environments.

• Conduct research, design, and deploy infrastructure systems utilizing bare-metal servers, hypervisors, orchestrators, virtual machines, and containerized setups.

• Create and apply Infrastructure-as-Code along with automation for configuration management.

• Develop and uphold infrastructure standards, documentation, and architectural diagrams.

• Collaborate with Technical Operations, CloudOps, and Platform teams to integrate systems, enhance deployment efficiency, and improve observability.

• Maximize resource allocation and cost efficiency of infrastructure while ensuring performance and uptime objectives are met.

• Strengthen resilience and scalability through capacity planning, disaster recovery testing, and modernization of infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Systems Administration, Datacenter Operations, or Infrastructure Engineering.

• In-depth knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.

• Demonstrated success in designing and managing hybrid cloud and traditional infrastructure platforms at scale.

• Experience in bare-metal, virtualized, and cloud-native environments.

• Practical experience with Terraform, Ansible, Consul, and Jenkins.

• Skilled in using Grafana, ELK, VictoriaMetrics, and DataDog.

• Programming experience in Python, Go, or JavaScript.

• Strong grasp of scalability, redundancy, fault tolerance, and cost optimization.

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and networking fundamentals.

• Capability to perform under pressure while promoting continuous improvement and reliability.

• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

• Legally authorized to work in the US without the need for company sponsorship.
