Senior Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable infrastructure for both cloud and on-premises environments.

• Oversee and support infrastructure across various software products and client settings.

• Ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of essential SaaS applications.

• Apply security best practices for infrastructure, including vulnerability management, access controls, and compliance standards.

• Automate the provisioning, configuration, deployment, and operational tasks of infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting tools.

• Monitor the health of infrastructure, troubleshoot complex technical challenges, and conduct root cause analysis.

• Collaborate with software engineering teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps initiatives.

• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, resilience, and cost-effectiveness.

• Design, maintain, and troubleshoot networking components such as firewalls, VPNs, DNS, and load balancers.

• Develop and maintain disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity plans.

• Work alongside Product, Support, and Customer Success teams to address infrastructure-related challenges and enhance customer satisfaction.

• Assess, recommend, and implement new technologies, tools, and best practices for infrastructure.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure standards.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members while engaging in continuous improvement efforts.

• Participate in on-call support and incident response for production environments as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• Over 7 years of experience in infrastructure, cloud engineering, or DevOps positions.

• Extensive experience with Azure and/or AWS platforms.

• Proficient in managing both Windows Server and Linux environments.

• Strong understanding of networking, security, VPNs, firewalls, and DNS.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, or similar.

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation processes.

• Proven experience in supporting production SaaS environments.

• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• __Preferred Qualifications__

• Certifications in Azure or AWS.

• Experience with GitLab, GitHub, or Azure DevOps.

• Background in cybersecurity, compliance, and monitoring platforms.

• Experience in supporting customer-facing software platforms.
