• Develop ingestion pipelines capable of handling over 1 million requests per second (RPS) for logs, metrics, and other telemetry data.
• Create scalable and fault-tolerant alerting systems to notify users in real-time about threshold breaches.
• Design comprehensive backend observability APIs, collaborating with the product team to deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Provide APIs that facilitate access to real-time log and metrics streams for the Dashboard and Product Teams.
• Construct GRPC services in Golang or Rust from the ground up, designed to support tens of thousands of users.
• Establish infrastructure that can be dismantled, failover, and rebuilt from scratch, adhering to the principles of immutable infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.
• Draft Engineering Requirement Documents to transform concepts into successful implementations.
• Collaborate with our TypeScript and GraphQL teams to expose your microservice APIs for both internal and potential external use.
• In-depth knowledge of distributed systems.
• Interest in technologies such as VictoriaMetrics, ClickHouse, and other platforms for constructing observability stacks from the ground up.
• Strong intuition regarding the longevity and sustainability of your solutions.
• The ability to implement your solutions while creating monitoring systems for error boundaries and documenting requirements for when you're unavailable.
• Excellent direction and prioritization skills when navigating the uncertainties of an early-stage startup.
• A determined attitude to tackle problems, implement solutions, scale those solutions, and replace them when necessary.
• Outstanding communication skills to effectively convey your ideas, implement solutions, and engage with others.
