Senior Information Developer, German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Grasp the product specifications and pinpoint the requirements for the publications to be created with minimal oversight from senior personnel.

• Recognize the client's writing style and produce technical documentation that adheres to publication standards (Microsoft, Apple, Chicago) with limited guidance from senior staff.

• Assess documentation development efforts and establish task deadlines in collaboration with the Project Manager or Head of IDO.

• Relay the status of ongoing documentation tasks to ensure prompt delivery.

• Conduct interviews with subject matter experts to gather continuous insights on the projects.

• Develop documentation templates for various output types.

• Compose and edit interface and procedural documentation, including user guides, installation guides, quick-reference guides, release notes, system configuration guides, and help systems.

• Actively participate (or passively engage) in the competence development activities of IDO.

• Contribute to coaching and mentoring junior staff members.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.

• Familiarity with the nuances of software documentation.

• Extensive understanding of software terminology.

• Knowledge of technical documentation development methodologies (DDLC) and their relationship with SDLC.

• Experience in establishing documentation processes.

• Demonstrated ability to update documentation in line with existing templates.

• Strong background in creating documentation and templates from the ground up, if necessary.

• Proven expertise in UX writing.

• Advanced proficiency in both English and German languages.
