Senior Industrial Engineering Consultant

📋 Description

• Guidehouse is in search of a Senior Consultant in Industrial Engineering who will assist in delivering modeling and simulation solutions, offer recommendations for continuous improvement and operational excellence, and devise an implementation plan to address process gaps across various manufacturing processes.

• You will collaborate closely with clients, project managers, engineers, data scientists, and other developers to create tools and strategies aimed at optimizing industrial processes.

• This position demands a comprehensive understanding of industrial manufacturing processes at the value stream level, knowledge of process constraints and strategies for mitigation, as well as optimization technologies to tackle those constraints. Additionally, excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

⛳️ Requirements

• An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance

• Bachelor’s degree

• A minimum of FIVE (5) years of experience in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline

• Proficiency in value stream mapping of manufacturing processes

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities

• Experience analyzing the current and future states of industrial manufacturing processes and formulating plans to bridge gaps

• Familiarity with discrete event simulation and related software (Simio, Arena, FlexSim, etc.)
