Senior Industrial Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee project design initiatives, guiding fellow architects and designers to achieve architectural designs that comply with established practices and company standards.

• Facilitate and lead the creation of contract documents, including Revit models, drawings, details, specifications, and scopes of work for installation.

• Spearhead the development and upkeep of Revit standards, templates, and libraries.

• Collaborate with the Department Manager to enhance team operations, address technology requirements, formulate sales strategies, advance proposal development, and improve production efficiency.

• Provide mentorship to other architects and designers, promoting a comprehensive learning environment for junior staff.

• Oversee discipline project budgets using Work Breakdown Structures Report (WBS), breaking down tasks and associated expenses based on the project proposal's scope of work.

• Supervise and manage assigned project personnel, ensuring control over project productivity, resource hours utilized, project modifications, and compliance with the agreed scope of services.

• Prepare and present accurate budget and schedule forecasts to the Project Manager, Department Manager, and Client to assess productivity and schedule discrepancies.

• Maintain a project correspondence file that includes project-related memos, letters, documentation for scope changes, and other pertinent documents.

• Foster positive client relationships and identify potential work opportunities.

• Always prioritize safety by adhering to both Matrix and client-specific safety standards when applicable.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States, both now and in the future, without employer sponsorship.

• A Bachelor of Architecture degree from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• A Master of Architecture degree is preferred.

• At least 5 years of experience as a registered Architect in the field of Industrial Architecture is required.

• Successful completion of the Intern Development Program (IDP) is essential.

• Completion of the Architect Registration Exam (ARE) is necessary.

• Must hold a State Registered Architect license in at least one jurisdiction and possess an NCARB certificate.

• Willingness to travel is required: up to 10% for local/daytime travel and 5% for overnight travel annually.
