This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Oversee multiple enterprise SIS implementation projects concurrently.
• Act as the Functional Lead throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Create implementation strategies and deployment roadmaps.
• Manage project scope, timelines, risks, and deliverables effectively.
• Facilitate executive steering committee meetings.
• Collaborate with institutional leadership across registrar, admissions, enrollment management, academic affairs, student affairs, financial aid, finance, institutional research, IT leadership, and provost offices.
• Perform business process analysis, functional solution design, requirements gathering, process optimization, gap analysis, change management, and best-practice consulting.
• Lead workshops addressing admissions, recruitment, registration, curriculum management, student records, degree audit, scheduling, academic advising, financial aid, billing and student accounts, graduation, and alumni relations.
• Generate BRDs, functional design documents, process maps, configuration specifications, gap analysis documents, user stories, and decision logs.
• Configure SIS modules that span the student lifecycle, academic management, student services, and financial operations.
• Direct data migration efforts, which include data cleansing, validation, mapping, and ETL coordination.
• Work alongside technical teams on LMS, CRM, ERP, identity management, payment, government reporting, document management, AI platform, and data warehouse integrations.
• Lead executive workshops, steering committees, functional design sessions, status meetings, demonstrations, and go-live readiness reviews.
• Conduct functional, system integration, user acceptance, regression, and production validation testing.
• Design and deliver training sessions, user guides, manuals, knowledge base articles, quick reference guides, and recorded training materials.
• Manage cutover planning, production deployment, hypercare support, post-go-live optimization, issue resolution, and transition to support.
• Mentor junior consultants, review deliverables, assist with proposals and pre-sales, conduct solution demonstrations, enhance implementation methodology, and contribute to practice development.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Higher Education Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing enterprise Student Information Systems.
• At least 5 years of experience in leading higher education implementation projects.
• Proven experience implementing at least one major SIS platform: Banner, Colleague, PowerCampus, Workday Student, PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, Jenzabar, Anthology Student, or SAP.
• Strong experience in consulting and stakeholder management.
• Background in leading executive workshops.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% within Latin America.
