Lead Platform Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide support for Allstate Health Solutions technology platforms, which include Quotit, AgentCubed, AHIT, and Medicare Benefits.

• Assist in the design of platform solutions and strategies for integration.

• Conduct hands-on API validation and testing utilizing tools like Postman.

• Aid in the planning of Azure migration, ensuring environment readiness and executing cutover processes.

• Oversee DevOps readiness, which encompasses repository access, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment procedures.

• Support planning and validation for data migration, taking into account PHI/PII considerations.

• Identify potential risks, blockers, and dependencies related to environments, security, and integrations.

• Work collaboratively with engineering teams to translate business requirements into actionable solutions.

• Generate technical documentation, maintain decision logs, and provide updates to stakeholders.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in Product, Engineering, Platform, Security/Compliance, Infrastructure, and Vendors.

• Facilitate product delivery, platform modernization, secure integrations, and maintain operational stability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of progressive experience in relevant fields.

• Hands-on experience with API and integration processes.

• Proficient in Azure and cloud environments.

• Knowledgeable in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, repositories, and deployment strategies.

• Capability to execute within platform delivery, beyond just architectural roles.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Experience working directly with engineers to debug, validate, and iterate solutions.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Clear documentation of risks, decisions, and dependencies.

• Preferred experience with .NET, C#, SQL, and Cosmos DB.

• Preferred familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

• Experience with API tools like Postman.

• Background in cloud/data migration and cutover processes.

• Experience in highly regulated environments such as HIPAA, PHI/PII, and HITRUST.

• Familiarity with microservices, event-driven architectures, vendor/platform integrations, Azure AI, and OpenAI integrations.

• Must consent to a background investigation.

• Appropriate desk and seating arrangements are necessary for remote work.
