Health Coach Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +35 more states.

📋 Description

• Employ a collaborative approach for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

• Engage with and educate members effectively.

• Advocate for and influence member choices aimed at achieving and sustaining optimal health.

• Deliver health coaching via the 24-Hour Nurse Line.

• Operate from home utilizing phone, videoconferencing, email, multiple monitors, electronic documentation, and virtual collaboration tools.

• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

• Achieve performance metrics and other reasonable requirements established by the Leader or Company.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current active RN compact state licensure without restrictions.

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in Disease Management, Emergency Room, Critical Care, Medical/Surgical Care, telehealth, and/or Oncology is required.

• An Associate Degree is mandatory.

• Must have a reliable phone and hard-wired internet connection.

• Willingness to work from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM EST, every other weekend, and on 4 holidays annually.

• Availability to work 8 hours a day and be reachable via phone, videoconference, and email during work hours.

• Personal obligations, including dependent care, should not conflict with work responsibilities.

• Maintain a secure and private workspace that complies with HIPAA.

• Proficient in using multiple monitors and systems concurrently.

• Capable of talking and typing simultaneously while managing various duties.

• Basic troubleshooting skills for essential hardware and common technical issues are necessary.

• Experience with electronic documentation and virtual collaboration tools is required.

• An organized, results-driven approach aligned with performance metrics is essential.

• Ability to consistently meet or surpass established goals and expectations.

• Managed Care experience is preferred.

• Previous coaching experience is a plus.

• Telephone triage nursing experience is an ideal qualification.

• A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 3-5 years of clinical experience is preferred.
