Senior Implementation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and manage HL7 and FHIR interfaces in collaboration with our clients' systems, working closely with their interface teams.

• Spearhead the standardization of our interfaces across various products and develop comprehensive documentation for these interfaces.

• Offer technical expertise, guidance, and support throughout the product implementation process to ensure effective customer adoption.

• Engage in monitoring and alerting regarding the health of interfaces.

• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of HL7 and FHIR implementations to guarantee reliability and compatibility.

• Facilitate comprehensive end-to-end implementation testing alongside customers.

• Deliver complete technical assistance to new clients during their implementation testing phase.

• Collaborate with Developers and Engineers on interface-related projects to consistently enhance integration methods and/or custom functionalities to satisfy customer requirements.

• Provide advanced technical support to customers as needed after the go-live phase.

• Assist in mentoring and upskilling colleagues in HL7 and FHIR, serving as an internal authority on best practices in FHIR and HL7.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in HL7 v2 interfacing.

• Established technical background, with the ability to read logs, source code, and query databases using SQL.

• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and XML.

• Experience with JavaScript, Typescript, and/or Python is a plus.

• Strong comprehension of the Healthcare IT landscape and key clinical and system integration points.

• A commitment to becoming proficient in FHIR.

• Exceptional attention to detail, along with experience in testing and validating data mappings.

• Ability to effectively communicate with customer IT personnel and end users, as well as our product management and engineering teams.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt within a dynamic startup environment.
