Senior Identity Engineer, Workforce Identity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and provide support for IAM solutions utilizing Okta, Auth0, and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) tools.

• Integrate and sustain identity systems with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and various other directories.

• Create and uphold secure integrations using SCIM, REST APIs, and tailored connectors.

• Collaborate with compliance and audit teams to assist in identity-related controls and evidence gathering.

• Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for intricate IAM challenges, offering Tier-3 troubleshooting and incident resolution.

• Spearhead upgrades, migrations, and the adoption of new identity technologies, such as Okta Identity Engine (OIE).

• Implement and oversee PAM solutions to safeguard administrative accounts and enforce least-privilege principles.

• Ensure compliance with internal security policies and regulatory standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR).

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Identity and Access Management or similar IT support positions.

• Practical experience with identity platforms including Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, and Active Directory.

• Extensive knowledge in Okta, Auth0, IGA, CIAM, PAM, and passwordless identity solutions.

• Solid understanding of identity protocols (OIDC, SAML, SWA, MFA) and identity lifecycle management practices.

• Familiarity with privileged access management tools (e.g., CyberArk, BeyondTrust).

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities with a knack for resolving identity-related issues.

• Knowledge of compliance frameworks and security best practices.

• Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously in a dynamic, regulated environment.

• Excellent communication, customer service, and collaboration skills, along with a commitment to identity security.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
