Senior Identity Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Designing, implementing, and enhancing enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.

• Creating and sustaining integrations among Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, HR systems, enterprise applications, and identity platforms.

• Developing automation using PowerShell and related technologies to boost reliability, consistency, and operational efficiency.

• Diagnosing intricate authentication, authorization, provisioning, and identity lifecycle challenges through a structured root-cause analysis approach.

• Collaborating with Information Security to adopt identity governance, least privilege, and privileged access best practices.

• Working with business stakeholders to convert identity-related business requirements into secure and scalable technical solutions.

• Leading or participating in identity-related migrations, acquisitions, and modernization projects.

• Acting as a technical escalation point for complex identity challenges and promoting long-term solutions through root cause analysis.

• Documenting solutions, mentoring colleagues, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement through engineering and automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM), Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, or similar identity technologies.

• Proficient in PowerShell scripting with experience in building automation and enhancing operational processes.

• Skilled in troubleshooting authentication, authorization, provisioning, identity lifecycle, and access-related issues.

• Familiarity with identity and authentication technologies, such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), LDAP, Kerberos, and related identity concepts.

• Proven experience in translating business needs into secure, scalable technical solutions.
