Senior Human Resources Business Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Sr HRBP) acts as a strategic partner to various business unit groups.

• Serves as the main HR contact and strategic advisor for assigned business units, focusing on recruitment, employee relations, benefits, compensation, performance management, and talent development.

• Independently collect and analyze data to create, implement, and drive effective solutions.

• Maintain a thorough, forward-thinking understanding of the organization's current needs and future direction, proactively advising on business decisions with respect to people-implications.

• Lead intricate workforce structure changes, including job description creation, risk assessment, change management, and communication efforts.

• Act as a reliable advisor to employees and managers throughout the organization on complex or sensitive employee relations matters.

• Utilize sound judgment to interpret HR policies in ambiguous or complex situations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in human resources roles is required.

• At least 5 years of experience in an HR Business Partner or a related role directly supporting senior leadership, demonstrating the ability to operate independently, is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing strategic HR recommendations and innovative solutions for business and operational challenges with minimal oversight is required.

• Direct experience supporting California-based operations with a strong understanding of California employment law.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Human Resources Management is preferred.

• SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is preferred upon hire.

• SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is preferred upon hire.

• Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) is preferred upon hire.

• Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) is preferred upon hire.
