This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
β’ Establish a connection between talent management and the organization's development strategy, aligning it with both short-term and long-term business objectives.
β’ Offer HR expertise and consulting services to various business units, leaders, and corporate functions.
β’ Formulate proactive Human Resources strategies and practices aimed at enhancing organizational capabilities.
β’ Collaborate with Compensation, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development teams to provide comprehensive HR services.
β’ Evaluate business risks, offer guidance, and escalate any potential issues as needed.
β’ Implement best practices for performance management, compensation planning, workforce and succession planning, as well as talent management.
β’ Counsel managers on performance issues, talent development, and employee relations.
β’ Supervise the resolution of employee relations issues, conduct investigations, manage external communications, and maintain documentation.
β’ Lead the rollout and implementation of company-wide initiatives, including communications, learning materials, training, workshops, and facilitation.
β’ Provide both strategic and tactical HR partnership alongside daily HR support for various business groups.
β’ Engage in operational meetings, business reviews, and team-building activities.
β’ Advise management on HR-related matters.
β’ Manage large-scale strategic projects and initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
β’ Oversee restructuring events and related change management processes.
β’ Direct talent planning, talent reviews, talent development, and succession planning efforts.
β’ Handle complex employee relations matters, investigations, performance management, leadership development, and strategic initiatives.
β’ Execute large-scale projects and initiatives, including M&A activities, while mentoring HR Business Partners (HRBPs).
β’ Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent qualification is required.
β’ 7-10+ years of progressive experience as an HR Business Partner (HRBP).
β’ Proven experience in providing advice, counsel, and coaching to senior leadership.
β’ Demonstrated ability to influence and advocate for effective leadership and organizational change.
β’ Capacity to forge strong business partnerships that align with business goals.
β’ Additional specialized expertise from a Center of Excellence role is preferred.
β’ PHR or a similar professional certification is desirable.
β’ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Ability to manage a high volume of work while executing tasks flawlessly.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of HR processes.
β’ Skills in organizational effectiveness and solution implementation.
β’ Proficiency in planning, setting project goals, and accountability.
β’ Capability to identify potential issues and propose solutions.
β’ Adaptability and flexibility in diverse and ambiguous work situations.
