Senior HTML5 Game Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Lead a Game Development team consisting of 14 members

• Convert game design documents (GDD) into HTML5 game formats

• Decompose GDD features into a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and generate JIRA tickets

• Ensure tasks are feasible within a maximum timeframe of one workweek

• Develop game features and functionalities using TypeScript

• Adhere to best practices by ensuring well-typed and thoroughly documented code

• Utilize Git for version control, committing code at least once each working day

• Submit merge requests upon completion of tasks

• Ensure compliance with Secure Development Principles in the code

• Integrate static artwork, animations, image sequences, and particle effects

• Maintain clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code

• Use Webpack for effective bundling, minification, and optimization

• Collaborate with Game Producers, Art Directors, and QA to address defects reported by QA

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in Game Development and 5 years in overall software development

• Proficient in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6), and HTML5/CSS3

• Extensive experience with PixiJS, Phaser, or similar frameworks

• Complete fluency in English, both written and spoken

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Familiarity with Git, JIRA (or comparable issue/project tracking tools), and GSuite

• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and multitasking capabilities

• Experience with Spine animations, including optimization techniques
