
Senior HR Manager β Global Remote Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ecuador.
β’ Oversee daily HR operations for a remote, globally distributed team.
β’ Manage the processes of employee onboarding, orientation, documentation, and offboarding.
β’ Keep accurate employee records, organizational charts, HR files, contracts, and compliance documentation.
β’ Assist with workforce planning, succession planning, and updates to organizational structure.
β’ Act as a primary point of contact for employee relations, workplace issues, policy guidance, and HR compliance.
β’ Provide advice to managers and employees regarding HR policies, performance standards, documentation, and employee development.
β’ Collaborate with payroll, bookkeeping, finance, and benefits teams to ensure accurate HR and payroll processes.
β’ Support HR and payroll compliance in Ecuador as needed, including coordination of statutory benefits, local employment documentation, and government-mandated requirements.
β’ Lead performance review cycles, initiatives for employee development, corrective action processes, and implementation of HR strategies.
β’ Review, enhance, and standardize HR policies, procedures, templates, and workflows.
β’ Ensure HR practices comply with relevant labor, employment, payroll, tax, and data privacy regulations.
β’ Provide HR insights and reporting to assist in leadership decision-making.
β’ Foster a positive, professional, compliant, and performance-oriented remote work culture.
β’ At least 5 years of demonstrated experience as an HR Manager, Senior HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or in HR leadership roles.
β’ Experience in supporting global, remote, or distributed teams.
β’ Strong understanding of HR operations, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR documentation.
β’ Familiarity with Ecuadorian labor practices, payroll coordination, IESS, SRI, employment documentation, and statutory benefits is strongly preferred.
β’ Experience in integrating HR processes with payroll, bookkeeping, finance, or benefits administration.
β’ Solid knowledge of labor, employment, payroll, and compliance practices.
β’ Exceptional leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
β’ Capability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating with international teams.
β’ High attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism is essential.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Psychology, Law, or a related field.
β’ HR certifications such as SHRM, PHR, CIPD, or equivalent are advantageous.
β’ Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish are highly preferred.
