This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Oversee and address intricate employee separations from start to finish with limited guidance across various global jurisdictions.

β€’ Offer expert advice on termination, resignation, transfers, employment contracts, redundancy procedures, and other HR-related issues.

β€’ Spearhead and facilitate consultations for workforce reductions, administrative hearings, negotiations for separations and settlements, and meetings regarding termination outcomes.

β€’ Influence and negotiate favorable results in complex termination situations.

β€’ Collaborate with payroll, legal advisors, government agencies, trade unions, and other relevant parties.

β€’ Craft, customize, and manage termination and supplementary documentation while ensuring accurate and confidential record-keeping.

β€’ Execute offboarding processes in Remote's internal HRIS platform alongside Customer Success, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, and Time and Attendance teams.

β€’ Provide initial Employee Relations support and assist clients with workplace issues.

β€’ Conduct preliminary evaluations of workplace concerns and pinpoint applicable regulations and potential resolutions.

β€’ Advise clients on progressive disciplinary measures, documentation needs, and challenging workplace scenarios.

β€’ Monitor and track employee relations cases and ensure appropriate follow-up actions.

β€’ Mentor and offer informal escalation support to junior colleagues.

β€’ Resolve offboarding and first-level employee relations inquiries as a subject-matter expert.

β€’ Propel process enhancements, automation, product innovation, and improvements in customer and employee experiences.

β€’ Establish methods, procedures, and standards for new tasks and adapt complex techniques to achieve desired results.

β€’ Report directly to the Manager of Employee Lifecycle, Employee Relations & Transitions.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with comprehensive HR skills across the employee lifecycle.

β€’ Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, labor relations, or employment law are considered advantageous.

β€’ Demonstrated experience in independently managing both voluntary and involuntary exits with care, sensitivity, and adherence to legal standards.

β€’ Extensive HR advice and insights on employment laws and regulations across diverse jurisdictions.

β€’ Solid understanding of employee relations principles, progressive discipline strategies, and the fundamentals of workplace investigations.

β€’ Ability to interpret and apply industrial instruments while analyzing complex HR matters.

β€’ Capability to autonomously research, develop useful team resources, provide actionable solutions, and communicate findings effectively.

β€’ Exceptional communication, influencing, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.

β€’ Proven ability to independently navigate challenging conversations towards favorable outcomes.

β€’ Proficient in business-level (advanced) written and spoken English.

β€’ Strong inclination towards process innovation, optimization, automation, and best-practice implementation.

β€’ High operational efficiency, meticulous record-keeping, and data integrity awareness.

β€’ Tech-savvy with the ability to adapt to changing systems and asynchronous collaboration tools.

β€’ Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, international remote environment.

β€’ Willingness to work flexible hours as required.

β€’ Proactive, self-driven, accountable, and capable of motivating others.

β€’ Strong skills in automation and AI, along with fluency in AI applications.

β€’ Previous employment verification check required.
