This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Facilitating the onboarding and off-boarding processes for team members
• Keeping employee records and processing documentation organized
• Updating and revising company handbooks as necessary
• Collaborating with leadership to establish workplace policies that support business objectives
• Offering support and guidance to employees and managers regarding inquiries and concerns
• Ensuring adherence to relevant federal and state labor laws
• Overseeing employee leave management, including FMLA
• Assisting with the enrollment in benefits and addressing related inquiries
• Coordinating performance evaluation processes
• Conducting workplace investigations and preparing necessary reports
• Managing the processing of payroll adjustments (e.g., new hires, terminations, salary increases) and system updates
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources
• A consulting mindset coupled with outstanding communication skills and a strong customer service orientation
• Extensive knowledge of HR processes, best practices, and regulatory compliance
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the determination to continue seeking answers
• Experience with multi-state companies or clients is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certifications are preferred
