This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Contribute to the growth of Cohere during a significant expansion phase.
• Collaborate closely with the GTM organization and senior leadership.
• Assist leaders in areas such as organizational design, leadership effectiveness, talent strategy, succession planning, and organizational wellness within a rapidly scaling, globally distributed context.
• Develop aspects of our People infrastructure and operational model.
• Exhibit ownership, sound judgment, accountability, and humility.
• Maintain a balance between standards and empathy while upholding high expectations.
• Thrive in ambiguity and tackle intricate organizational and leadership challenges.
• Transition smoothly between strategic planning and hands-on execution.
• Communicate effectively and influence others through strong credibility.
• Foster the development of others, including mentoring and coaching PBPs.
• Over 8 years of experience in strategic HR or People roles.
• Proven experience collaborating with Sales, Marketing, or similar sectors.
• Familiarity with startup, scale-up, or fast-growing environments.
• Experience supporting distributed teams across various countries or regions.
• Exceptional communication skills, particularly in written and asynchronous formats.
• Ability to build trust effectively—exert influence through credibility, sound judgment, and long-term relationships.
