Senior HPC Performance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Conduct analyses and execute High Performance Computing (HPC) applications on HPC servers and systems.

• Support clients in accelerating HPC applications using GPU technology.

• Evaluate HPC applications to gain insights into their performance attributes.

• Offer guidance and influence compiler and application engineering development teams based on findings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.

• Over 8 years of programming expertise.

• Strong knowledge of Fortran/C/C++ and programming methodologies for parallel architectures.

• Proficient in OpenACC, OpenMP, MPI, and CUDA.

• Excellent abilities in performance analysis and optimization.

• Solid grounding in mathematics, including linear algebra and numerical methods.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills coupled with problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience in project leadership and/or management is an advantage.
