Senior Healthcare Technical Specialist, Oracle Health – CCL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Extract healthcare data from various EHR systems.

• Retrieve clean and accurate data from Oracle Health (Cerner), MEDITECH, Epic, and other platforms to facilitate reporting and analytics.

• Write and maintain Cerner Command Language (CCL).

• Develop, test, and optimize Cerner Command Language (CCL) queries for data extraction purposes.

• Create SQL-based extracts and datasets.

• Write and refine SQL queries, data extracts, and reporting datasets.

• Design, enhance, and support reports and dashboards using SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.

• Collaborate directly with client stakeholders to comprehend reporting and analytics needs.

• Provide support for a comprehensive range of healthcare reporting.

• Utilize SQL Server, SSIS, and associated tools to transfer and manipulate data.

• Generate clear and client-ready documentation of designs, processes, and solutions.

• Prioritize your own tasks and deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 5 years or more of experience in the healthcare field (required).

• Direct, hands-on experience with healthcare data in clinical, financial, operational, or IT environments.

• Experience with multi-EHR data extraction.

• Proven capability to extract and manage data from Oracle Health (Cerner), MEDITECH, Epic, or other EHR platforms.

• Proficiency in writing, testing, and maintaining CCL for data extraction against Oracle Health (Cerner).

• Strong SQL skills for querying, data analysis, and reporting purposes.

• Practical experience with one or more of SSRS, Power BI, or Tableau.

• Familiarity with SQL Server, Visual Studio, and SSIS for report and data integration development.

• Demonstrated ability to convert raw data into usable and accurate reporting.

• Capability to manage priorities and deliver results with minimal oversight, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
