Senior Health & Safety Manager

📋 Description

• Deliver strategic and practical safety leadership for all EPCM projects throughout North America

• Emphasize the integration and management of Ramboll H&S programs across various simultaneous EPCM projects

• Influence the overall safety culture across the business

• Facilitate contractor alignment and act as a trusted advisor to Project Directors and EPCM leadership

• Develop and execute a programmatic approach to project-specific HSE strategies, plans, and procedures

• Act as the main HSE advisor to Project Directors and EPCM leadership teams

• Promote the adoption of Ramboll’s Caring Together HSS program

• Offer strategic advice to EPCM and HSE leadership during proposal development and contract discussions

• Establish HSE organizational structures that can scale effectively

• Oversee HSE expectations and performance across various contractors and subcontractors

• Lead hazard identification, high-risk work reviews, and CHAs across various EPCM scopes

• Ensure adherence to relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline

• Over 10 years of progressive on-site HSE leadership experience with significant exposure to large-scale EPC/EPCM projects

• Strong experience in multi-contractor, high-risk industrial construction settings

• Proven capability to influence without direct authority

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities

• Preferred: Professional certifications (CSP, CMIOSH, NEBOSH, CRSP, or equivalent)

• Background in energy, mining, chemicals, industrial manufacturing, or large-scale infrastructure

• Experience supporting owner’s EPCM models across multiple concurrent projects

• International or remote project experience.
