Senior Health & Safety Manager – Americas

📋 Description

• Deliver strategic and practical safety leadership for all EPCM projects throughout North America

• Create and execute a systematic approach to project-specific HSE strategies, plans, and procedures

• Act as the main HSE advisor to Project Directors and EPCM leadership teams

• Promote the adoption of Ramboll’s Caring Together HSS program throughout engineering, procurement, and construction phases

• Offer strategic direction during proposal development and contract negotiations

• Establish HSE organizational structures for multi-project EPCM execution

• Align HSE expectations and performance across contractors and subcontractors

• Oversee hazard identification, high-risk work assessments, and CHAs

• Advocate for risk-based controls and encourage collaboration among executing parties

• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline

• Over 10 years of progressive on-site HSE leadership experience with significant exposure to large-scale EPC/EPCM projects

• Strong experience in supporting multi-contractor, high-risk industrial construction settings

• Proven capability to influence without direct authority

• Preferred professional certifications include CSP, CMIOSH, NEBOSH, CRSP, or equivalent

• Background in energy, mining, chemicals, industrial manufacturing, or large-scale infrastructure

• Experience in supporting owner’s EPCM models across multiple simultaneous projects

• Experience with international or remote project work
