Senior Guidewire ClaimCenter Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions customized to meet business requirements.

• Reverse engineer current codebases to comprehend legacy implementations and suggest enhancements.

• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and fellow developers.

• Integrate Guidewire ClaimCenter with external systems utilizing APIs and frameworks.

• Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of ClaimCenter implementations.

• Diagnose and resolve intricate technical challenges in ClaimCenter and its integrations.

• Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and performance optimization.

• Assist Accellor in delivering AI, data, and engineering modernization services for enterprise clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of professional experience in software development with a strong emphasis on Guidewire ClaimCenter.

• Expert-level proficiency in Guidewire ClaimCenter Configuration and Integration development.

• Proficient in Java, with a preference for Java 21.

• Familiarity with object-oriented principles, design patterns, and modular programming.

• Experience with Spring Boot 3.4.x preferred for developing RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Proven capability to reverse engineer and assess existing codebases.

• Solid understanding of Guidewire Data Model, Gosu scripting, and Guidewire Studio.

• Practical experience with SOAP and REST APIs.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, including Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes, is advantageous.

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.

• Guidewire certification is highly preferred.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Familiarity with Angular or React for Guidewire add-ons.

• Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization in Guidewire implementations.
