This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the integrated campaign calendar focused on acquiring new logos within the Business & Government segment, ensuring pipeline targets are established for each program.
• Transform GTM positioning and competitive differentiation provided by the GTM Marketing team into engaging, audience-specific campaign narratives and materials.
• Implement multi-channel campaigns that encompass paid media, email, content syndication, webinars, and integration of field events.
• Design and manage ABM initiatives for targeted accounts across the Business & Government landscape — account-based thinking is central to this position, not optional.
• Enhance Blackboard’s visibility in AI-driven research environments (GEO), collaborating with the VP GTM to identify prompts and themes of interest to buyers.
• Collaborate with Marketing channel teams to ensure programs generate compounded ROI rather than operate in isolation.
• Develop AI-native workflows for continuous campaign analysis, audience personalization, and performance enhancement — and share your innovations with the broader team.
• Manage Blackboard’s presence at external conferences in the Business & Government sector, including events like DevLearn, ATD, and other relevant gatherings.
• Oversee regional field activation programs linked to pipeline objectives in specific accounts or geographical areas.
• Create and manage post-event attribution models: every investment in events is assessed based on pipeline sourced, pipeline influenced, and closed-won contributions.
• Hold a direct pipeline contribution target — beyond merely tracking activity metrics. You monitor this figure weekly and adjust strategies when programs fall short.
• Collaborate with Marketing Intelligence to establish campaign-level pipeline targets and monitor performance against these goals.
• 8–10 years of experience in B2B demand generation or growth marketing, preferably in EdTech, SaaS, or a similarly intricate enterprise setting.
• Demonstrated success in creating and executing integrated campaigns that drive pipeline — not just leads — with a measurable contribution figure that you are accountable for.
• Genuine ABM experience: you have actively implemented account-based programs, not merely heard about them. You understand how to design plays at the account level and evaluate their effectiveness.
• Proven ownership of field and event marketing: you have managed conference attendance, regional initiatives, and event budgets comprehensively, including post-event attribution.
• AI-native operator: you have designed workflows and automations with AI as an integral aspect of your work, not just a supplementary effort. You can present examples of your creations and their performance.
• Data-driven mindset: you monitor your own metrics, identify what’s effective, and make necessary adjustments proactively.
• Solid working knowledge of HubSpot or Marketo and Salesforce; you comprehend lead flow, campaign tracking, and attribution mechanics.
• Familiarity with intent data platforms — such as 6sense, Demandbase, or similar — and the capacity to act on those signals for campaign targeting.
• Experience managing agency relationships for paid media (search, display, programmatic) and overseeing creative production coordination.
• Capability to work independently in a dynamic organization — you manage your own schedule, brief collaborators, and take ownership of your results.
• Excellent written communication skills: you distill complex positioning into campaign copy, clear creative briefs, and performance summaries suitable for executives.
• Cross-functional influence: you collaborate effectively with Sales and can assertively push back when necessary, maintaining positive relationships.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
• Health insurance
• 401(k) matching
• Paid time off
• Professional development opportunities
