This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take ownership of the German market's P&L with a focus on growth, being accountable not only for traffic and conversions but also for contribution, CAC efficiency, retention, and sustainable, profitable scaling.
• Establish targets, manage forecasts, and have the autonomy to make significant decisions.
• Develop the strategy and oversee its implementation across the entire funnel: paid acquisition, CRM and lifecycle management, CRO, SEO, and data analytics.
• Assemble and lead a team to execute this strategy, serving as the senior representative for Germany at the leadership level.
• Identify the reasons behind cohort retention issues and implement solutions.
• View retention as a growth lever on par with acquisition efforts.
• Create the attribution, reporting, and forecasting framework that aligns marketing and finance with a unified source of truth for CAC and contribution.
• Clearly communicate performance, risks, and strategy with transparency and commercial integrity.
• Significant experience in digital growth and performance marketing.
• Over 3 years in a senior leadership position with responsibility for strategy and team management.
• Proven success in scaling a D2C, subscription, or telehealth business through a substantial growth phase (e.g., €5M to €30M+ ARR).
• Experience managing unit economics, CAC, LTV, payback periods, and contribution margins.
• Ideally, experience in turning around or revitalizing the economics of an underperforming market or channel.
• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing growth teams.
• Confident in interacting at the executive or board level, with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Extensive, hands-on experience with paid media (Google Ads, Meta, Bing), SEO, and lifecycle/CRM tools (Braze, Klaviyo, or similar).
• Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities; proficient in GA4, Looker Studio, SEMrush, with a solid understanding of cohort analysis, attribution, and segmentation.
• In-depth knowledge of the German market, including consumer behavior, competitive landscape, and the regulatory environment for digital healthcare/pharmacy (e.g., HWG and advertising restrictions on healthcare and prescription products).
• Experience in adapting strategies to local conditions and ideally, collaborating across multiple markets.
