This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +5 more states.
• Take ownership of the complete lifecycle of one or more service offerings, encompassing value proposition, target customers, service design, and pricing.
• Serve as the primary coordinator among Business Development, Delivery, Engineering, and Technology teams.
• Convert customer and market insights into scalable service models and implementation strategies.
• Drive ongoing enhancement of existing offerings utilizing performance data, customer feedback, and changing market conditions.
• Conduct customer discovery and market research to guide service design and prioritization.
• Integrate insights from customers, partners, and market stakeholders into actionable recommendations.
• Transform research findings into insights suitable for external consumption, including thought leadership content and materials for clients.
• Ensure that all offerings are developed with a customer-centric approach, aligning solutions with genuine customer needs rather than predetermined product constructs.
• Spearhead the creation of new service offerings and pilot programs in emerging Distributed Energy Resource (DER) use cases.
• Utilize customer and market insights to delineate pilot hypotheses, structure, and success metrics.
• Assess pilot results and convert learnings into scalable, repeatable offerings.
• Formulate market entry and growth strategies across various regions and customer segments.
• Consolidate regulatory, market, and competitive insights into actionable recommendations.
• Assist in developing market-facing perspectives and narratives that position CLEAResult as a leader in energy transition.
• Oversee solution development for proposals and RFPs, including program design, pricing, and performance assumptions.
• Ensure that clear, distinct, and customer-relevant value propositions are evident in client-facing materials.
• Lead or contribute to thought leadership content, encompassing white papers, presentations, and insights on emerging DER and energy transition topics.
• Represent CLEAResult at industry conferences, webinars, and events, discussing market trends, solution design, and program innovations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to shape market-facing narratives and viewpoints that bolster business development and brand positioning.
• Lead or assist in client-facing innovation sessions (e.g., innovation days, workshops) to identify new opportunities and co-develop solutions with clients.
• Direct cross-functional teams within a highly matrixed environment.
• Ensure alignment between customer requirements, solution design, and execution of delivery.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in DER-related solutions such as energy storage, virtual power plants, or energy market participation.
• Provide insights on market design, risks, and regulatory dynamics.
• Over 7 years of experience in the energy sector, focusing on DERs, demand response, energy storage, or energy markets.
• Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams for the development and launch of programs or services.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, energy systems, business, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of utility program design and implementation.
• Experience in conducting or utilizing customer and market research to inform solution development.
• Client-facing experience, including presentations and solution development.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• Experience managing a service offering in a product management role is preferred.
• Experience working within a highly matrixed organization is preferred.
• Familiarity with wholesale markets and DER participation models is preferred.
• Experience contributing to thought leadership, conference presentations, or client-facing workshops is preferred.
• Training or experience in product lifecycle management, design thinking/human-centered design, or lean innovation is preferred.
