Senior Group Reporting Accountant

📋 Description

• Preparing and presenting precise monthly and annual consolidated financial statements while supporting internal reporting, all in accordance with Polish GAAP.

• Overseeing intercompany (IC) transactions, which include reconciliation and confirmation, and aiding in audit and review processes.

• Working together with accounting teams throughout the Group, external auditors, and advisors to address accounting treatment issues and ensure seamless reporting processes.

• Assisting in the creation and execution of the Group Accounting Policy, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely financial reporting.

• Engaging in strategic financial projects such as implementing new accounting standards, managing the accounting for new acquisitions, and establishing internal controls in the accounting domain.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of accounting experience, including more than 3 years as a consolidation specialist within an international group of companies.

• In-depth understanding of Polish GAAP, supported by a degree in Finance/Accounting or a Polish Accountants Association certificate (minimum 2nd degree).

• Proficient Excel skills and a systematic, detail-oriented approach to tackling complex accounting challenges.

• Proficiency in English (at least B2+), as communication with staff and advisors across our global offices will be necessary.

• A collaborative "team player" attitude, with the ability to adjust to a rapidly evolving scale-up environment.

• Familiarity with Business Central (Navision) or previous experience in ERP implementations will also be advantageous.
