
Senior Groundwater Modeller – Hydrogeologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Create conceptual, analytical, and numerical groundwater models to assist in environmental impact assessments, permitting, water treatment, and remediation projects for Ensero clients.
• Offer senior hydrogeological expertise and serve as a Hydrogeology Subject Matter Expert (SME) for projects across Ensero.
• Engage in technical communications, including writing and reviewing reports.
• Conduct, analyze, and present findings on hydrogeological and water studies.
• Analyze aquifer tests, characterize aquifers using maps and other spatial data, and carry out spatial analyses.
• Collaborate with other technical experts to meet multidisciplinary project objectives.
• Communicate and coordinate with clients and assessors/government regulators.
• Identify and prioritize key opportunities for growth by developing new client accounts to enhance business and portfolio expansion.
• Contribute to business development by leading proposal creation, scope development, and presentations.
• Provide technical contributions to projects within your areas of expertise.
• Mentor and deliver technical training to junior and intermediate team members.

• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or Engineering).
• Master’s or Doctorate level degree is preferred.
• P.Geo. or P.Eng. accreditation or eligibility is an asset.
• 7 - 9 years of pertinent experience in mining or environmental consulting with a proven track record in groundwater modeling and groundwater programs.
• Familiarity with hydrogeological modeling software (FEFLOW, MODFLOW, etc.).
• Strong understanding of hydrogeological study design and comfort with integrating multi-disciplinary studies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other business software.
• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with stakeholders at various levels.
