This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop innovative creative concepts, visual identities, and experience journeys for events, incentives, and new business ventures.
• Create mood boards, concept decks, and visual narratives to assist clients in understanding and embracing ideas.
• Lead design workflows from concept through to final production while exercising a high level of independence.
• Adapt creative concepts throughout the attendee journey, covering pre-event communications, onsite environments, stages, screens, signage, wayfinding, digital experiences, and other touchpoints.
• Design across digital, print, and various experiential elements.
• Develop signage and branding strategies for hotels and collaborate with print, digital, scenic, and fabrication vendors.
• Collaborate with motion designers, editors, and production teams to harmonize graphic, spatial, and moving elements.
• Art direct and mentor Graphic Designers and freelance talent.
• Design with consideration of physical production realities such as scale, materials, fabrication, sightlines, screen formats, and technical specifications.
• Manage priorities across multiple programs and deadlines effectively.
• Create client presentations and pitch decks.
• Present creative ideas and design work directly to clients in collaboration with Creative Directors and cross-functional partners.
• Convert client feedback into insightful solutions.
• Work in partnership with Creative, Production, Planning, Account, and New Business from discovery and briefing to execution.
• Maintain BMC design standards and continuously enhance work quality.
• Offer constructive feedback and mentor emerging designers.
• Investigate AI and emerging technologies for research, concept development, visualization, image generation, iteration, and storytelling.
• Discover new tools, techniques, and capabilities to create more distinctive and impactful work.
• 6+ years of professional design experience, preferably in events, experiential marketing, hospitality, entertainment, or a creative agency setting.
• Portfolio demonstrating concept, craftsmanship, and versatility across branding, presentations, print, digital, environmental, and event design.
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Advanced skills in PowerPoint with the capability to create sophisticated client and executive presentations.
• Proficiency in generative AI tools such as Midjourney, ChatGPT, Claude, Adobe Firefly, or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of print production, large-format/environmental graphics, file preparation, and production standards.
• Experience collaborating across motion, video, spatial design, production, and other creative fields.
• Experience in directing other creatives and presenting work to clients and senior-level executives.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients, programs, deliverables, and deadlines.
• Willingness to travel as required for client programs, presentations, and events.
• B2B event experience is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Figma, After Effects, motion design, 3D, or spatial design is preferred.
