Senior Grant Manager – Financial Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Oversee project and task management initiatives, which involve creating project work plans and ensuring the successful completion of deliverables.

• Analyze and summarize state and federal regulations (2 CFR 200).

• Direct and assist in compliance monitoring activities for grantees and their subrecipients.

• Offer expert-level technical support to grantees and their subrecipients.

• Aid in the development and upkeep of budgets for grantees and subrecipients.

• Establish and execute processes for project and grant-level forecasting, reconciliation, and reporting.

• Perform research and analysis, and create and present findings to clients, stakeholders, and the general public.

• Prepare plans, reports, and assessments informed by research and analysis.

• Assist in crafting client-facing documents such as policies, procedures, checklists, forms, trackers, and administrative guidance.

• Compose documents, memos, letters, and other formal communications directed at clients.

• Lead or assist in organizing meetings or workshops.

• Take and compile notes from internal meetings as well as meetings with clients.

• Support Project Managers in delivering services to clients.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree and five years of experience in one or more activities funded by HUD, including disaster recovery, mitigation and resilience, community development, housing (HOME or CDBG), economic development, infrastructure, or public services.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively, communicate clearly, and adhere to tight deadlines.

• Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to retrieve, analyze, and synthesize data meaningfully.

• Comprehensive knowledge of HUD grant program regulations.

• In-depth understanding of 2 CFR 200 and its relevance to HUD programs.

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Highly organized, capable of leading and managing multiple tasks independently with minimal supervision.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Flexibility to accommodate client meetings across various time zones.
