Senior Governance, Risk, and Compliance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver assurance and automation for CrowdStrike’s worldwide compliance initiative.

• Oversee audit and compliance activities related to relevant frameworks, external certifications, and internal evaluations.

• Assess current practices and proactively seek opportunities to enhance the information security program.

• Create scalable automation solutions that integrate controls across various systems and processes.

• Manage both internal and external compliance audits and assessments conducted by independent third-party auditors.

• Design custom integrations between internal systems to facilitate the communication or transfer of relevant information.

• Identify and develop automation capabilities to optimize the audit program.

• Undertake additional governance, risk, and compliance responsibilities as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience or familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 20000-1, ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 27701, and ISO/IEC 42001.

• Functional experience in ensuring compliance programs.

• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.

• Proficiency in scripting languages including Python, Bash, and PowerShell.

• Experience with workflow automation and orchestration tools.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant job experience, or a BA/BS or MA/MS degree in a related field with at least 3 years of professional experience.

• Demonstrated experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, enhance efficiency, and drive business results.

• Program and project management experience involving scoping, work breakdown, critical path analysis, resource allocation, time estimation, project risks, and quality assurance.

• Capability to think strategically about risks and align them with tactical organizational activities.

• Familiarity with cloud environments and CrowdStrike products or services.

• Experience with contemporary AI toolsets for programming or compliance purposes.

• U.S. work authorization supported by participation in the E-Verify program.
