Senior Golang Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• You will be responsible for designing and constructing scalable backend solutions using Go, playing a crucial role in developing the architecture of a high-load, mission-critical system.

• You will work closely with the team, participating in strategic technical decisions and ensuring code quality through careful reviews and clean, testable implementations.

• Your extensive knowledge of system internals, distributed architecture, and data integrity will enhance reliability, performance, and long-term maintainability.

• You will collaborate within a team leveraging the Scrum methodology and take part in planning your own workflow.

• You will engage in architectural, infrastructure, and other strategic decision-making processes.

• You will conduct code reviews for fellow team members and document your own code.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience.

• At least 4 years of recent programming experience with Go as the primary language.

• A strong grasp of Go internals, including data structures, multithreading, memory management, garbage collection, and more.

• Experience with relational databases, including proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.

• Solid knowledge of Linux and familiarity with containerization technologies (we utilize Docker).

• The ability to write testable code along with corresponding unit tests.

• Experience with Kafka and Kubernetes.

• Proficiency in English at an Intermediate level.

• Proficiency in Russian at an Upper-Intermediate level.
