Senior GoLang Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services utilizing Go.

• Architect distributed systems and microservices with an emphasis on scalability, reliability, and observability.

• Enhance performance across APIs, data pipelines, and service-to-service communication.

• Apply best practices for code quality, testing, CI/CD, and cloud-native deployment.

• Collaborate across functions with product managers, DevOps, and frontend teams to provide comprehensive solutions.

• Lead technical decisions regarding system design, data modeling, and infrastructure.

• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, offering code reviews and architectural advice.

• Resolve complex production issues, including performance bottlenecks and failures in distributed systems.

• Contribute to technical roadmaps and the long-term engineering strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in backend engineering.

• 3+ years of practical experience in Go development.

• Strong grasp of concurrency patterns, goroutines, channels, and Go memory management.

• Experience in building microservices and distributed systems at scale.

• Proficiency with REST, gRPC, GraphQL, or event-driven architectures.

• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, caching layers, and message queues.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).

• Capability to write clean, maintainable, idiomatic Go code.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to facilitate technical discussions.
