Senior Go Lang Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Create new functionalities within existing systems

• Implement enhancements, modifications, and necessary evolutions in current services

• Maintain quality, performance, and alignment with business requirements

• Engage in technology evolution initiatives, including the migration of components and services across various technologies (e.g., Node.js to Go)

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Go (Golang)

• Understanding of GraphQL utilizing gqlgen

• Experience with GraphQL contracts, schema versioning, and API evolution

• Familiarity with GraphQL Federation and the development of subgraphs

• Experience with Contract-first and Code-first approaches in GraphQL (gqlgen, Apollo, Mercurius, or similar)

• Knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript

• Proven experience in developing and integrating REST APIs with external services

• Experience in testing with Go using go test, testify, or similar tools

• Understanding of Unit Testing and Contract Testing

• Implementation of best practices for error handling in Go (Error Handling Patterns)

• Familiarity with Clean Architecture and layered architecture

• Basic understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD)

• Experience with the Repository Pattern and Dependency Injection

• Application of design patterns and best practices in software development

• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices

• Knowledge of tools such as Argo, Kargo, Cloud Build, and Helm

• Understanding of cloud computing environments, particularly GCP

• Experience with observability, metrics, and logging using OpenTelemetry and Grafana

• Experience with Redis for caching strategies and performance enhancement

• Familiarity with MongoDB and relational databases

• Knowledge in utilizing AI agents to aid in software development (e.g., Claude, Codex, or similar tools)
