Senior Go Engineer, Full Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the entire lifecycle: Develop, scale, and sustain contemporary web applications, leveraging our Go backend while being ready to implement features in React/TypeScript on the frontend as needed.

• Close the gap: Create and execute clean APIs in Go, ensuring their smooth integration into a high-performance, accessible React frontend.

• Design for scalability: Uphold exceptional standards for code quality and performance throughout the stack, from backend microservices to frontend component libraries.

• Collaborate extensively: Partner with Product and Design teams to transform ambiguous requirements into refined features.

• Proactive engineering mindset: You regard AI coding assistants (such as Claude Code and Codex) as genuine collaborators rather than mere autocomplete tools. You take ownership of every line of code that is deployed under your name, irrespective of whether you wrote it or an agent did. You are driven to deeply explore agent workflows and apply your judgment to convert agent outputs into production-ready code.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6+ years of professional software engineering experience within a production setting.

• Demonstrated expertise in architecting and maintaining high-scale web APIs.

• Experience shipping Go in production for over 2 years, with a strong comfort level in owning backend system design from start to finish.

• Eager and willing to contribute to our React/TypeScript frontend, possessing a sufficient baseline skill set to deliver features when necessary.

• A 'DevOps' mentality, proficient with CI/CD, automated testing, and version control.

• Proficient in English with the capability to convey complex technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
