Senior Go Engineer – AI Code Evaluation, Codex, Claude Code

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess end-to-end interactions generated by AI in coding.

• Evaluate if the outputs are beneficial, accurate at a high level, and in line with sound engineering principles.

• Analyze the quality of reasoning and explanations, not just the code itself.

• Differentiate between various levels of response quality.

• Offer clear, insightful feedback on what was effective, what was lacking, and what felt incorrect or misleading.

• Assist in defining the characteristics of excellent interactions with tools like Cursor.

• Make informed yet subjective evaluations regarding interactions with AI coding agents.

⛳️ Requirements

• Staff or Principal-level engineer or equivalent experience.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.

• Practical experience with OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, and Cursor.

• Extensive knowledge of contemporary AI-assisted development workflows.

• Capability to evaluate code without the need to execute or thoroughly review every line.

• Comfortable providing direct and opinionated feedback.

• High expectations for quality engineering.

• A take-home evaluation exercise and one behavioral interview are required.

• A straightforward background check is necessary for the project.
