Senior Go Engineer – 6 month project

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Denmark.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain backend services utilizing Go/Golang

• Create integrations between intricate client and vendor platforms

• Collaborate with transaction processing systems, APIs, and event-driven architectures

• Contribute to solutions based on distributed systems and microservices

• Assist in technical integration tasks across various platforms

• Conduct technical analysis related to migration and integration projects

• Engage in testing during various phases of the migration program

• Investigate and resolve technical challenges that arise during integration and migration

• Operate in cloud-native environments employing contemporary engineering practices

• Help guarantee the stability, reliability, and continuity of high-availability, mission-critical systems

• Collaborate closely with client, vendor, and engineering teams throughout the program lifecycle

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant commercial experience with Go/Golang

• Demonstrated experience in designing and constructing complex backend systems

• Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture

• Practical experience with event-driven platforms such as Kafka

• In-depth knowledge of API design and system integrations

• Experience working on large-scale migration or integration projects

• Familiarity with cloud-native environments and modern engineering methodologies

• Capability to work with high-volume, high-availability backend services

• Experience in troubleshooting intricate technical issues across integrated systems

• Excellent collaboration skills and confidence in working with both client and vendor teams

• Background in card payments, issuer processing, banking, fintech, transaction switching, payment infrastructure, or other transaction-heavy or real-time processing settings would be highly advantageous
