
Senior Global Event Manager, Content Strategy and Production

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.
• Lead the development of content strategy, agenda structure, speaker experience, and production preparedness across key Global Events programs.
• Convert business goals, product priorities, audience requirements, and executive guidance into engaging event experiences, including keynotes, breakouts, workshops, executive sessions, livestreams, on-demand content, and special programming.
• Create agenda frameworks for general sessions, breakouts, workshops, customer moments, sponsor content, executive programs, and unique experiences to ensure significant attendee value and alignment with business, product, and GTM priorities.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, Brand, Creative, Legal, Developer Network, Sales, executive stakeholders, production partners, and the wider Global Events team to ensure alignment across content, agenda, speaker, and production workflows.
• Establish and uphold production standards for general sessions, breakout rooms, livestreams, on-demand content, and key content experiences to ensure production choices support the event narrative, speaker requirements, audience engagement, accessibility, and Twilio brand expectations.
• Supervise the speaker readiness strategy, which includes milestone planning, rehearsal strategies, deck review timelines, know-before-you-go communications, content lock dates, and onsite support models for executives, customers, internal speakers, partners, and breakout speakers.
• Direct content operations workflows encompassing call for presentations, CMS/Sessionboard management, agenda data, session metadata, speaker records, reporting, dashboards, deck tracking, brand/legal review, and production handoffs.
• Oversee production partner and AVL collaboration by delineating technical requirements, reviewing production scope, supporting vendor selection, and ensuring production plans are realistic, cost-effective, and aligned with Twilio standards.
• Develop and maintain integrated workbacks, decision paths, escalation frameworks, playbooks, templates, review workflows, and operating models that enable cross-functional teams to execute with precision.
• Detect content, speaker, agenda, and production risks early; clearly escalate blockers; propose solutions; and facilitate prompt decisions with the relevant stakeholders.
• Lead post-event evaluations for content, agenda, speaker experience, and production workflows, capturing insights and enhancing scalable playbooks for future programs.
• 7+ years of experience in event content strategy, event production, agenda development, speaker experience, executive events, or large-scale B2B event programming.
• Proven experience serving as an internal Executive Producer, senior content lead, or senior production lead for intricate events involving multiple stages, speaker types, stakeholder groups, and production dependencies.
• Demonstrated experience in creating event content strategies that align business priorities, audience needs, agenda architecture, speaker strategy, and production execution into a unified attendee experience.
• Experience collaborating with executive stakeholders and cross-functional partners, including Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, Brand, Creative, Legal, Developer Relations, Sales, production partners, and event teams.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, show flow, stage experience, breakout production, livestream, on-demand content, rehearsal planning, and onsite execution.
• Experience managing content operations workflows, including CFP, CMS or agenda management, speaker resources, deck collection, brand/legal review, and production lock.
• Excellent project management abilities, including the capacity to create workbacks, playbooks, templates, escalation paths, decision logs, and operating models that aid teams in executing with clarity.
• Outstanding communication skills, executive presence, and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to influence senior leaders, communicate trade-offs, and provide clear recommendations in complex or ambiguous situations.
