This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts, +1 more state.
• Oversee Business Development and Account Management for assigned MedTech/Med Device clients, achieving revenue goals that align with the MedTech strategy.
• Establish and cultivate strong relationships with senior executives and strategic leaders within the client organization.
• Coordinate sales, business, and service lines at both regional and national levels.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of the client and present innovative ideas to develop and secure opportunities, offering comprehensive solutions that enhance the size, duration, and value of sales over time.
• Build and sustain a profound understanding of the healthcare sector and the full range of IQVIA capabilities to maximize client value through industry insights and to enhance account growth.
• Ensure clients derive maximum benefit from subscribed services by collaborating to define and agree on requirements and by conducting regular business and service reviews with both clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with clients and internal IQVIA teams to drive client satisfaction with IQVIA services, fostering opportunities for repeat business, upselling, and positive referrals.
• Work closely with IQVIA colleagues throughout the organization to ensure alignment with the account strategy and to support new business opportunities within client accounts.
• Partner with colleagues to develop successful, complex solutions for clients.
• Methodically complete foundational sales activities such as account planning, financial reporting, and opportunity management.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the Medical Device or Diagnostic sector is essential.
• US-based / Remote position with required travel: 10%-20% for domestic and global travel.
• Previous experience managing accounts with clients generating $10 million or more.
• Proven track record in solution selling across a diverse portfolio of capabilities.
• Strong sales and opportunity management skills throughout the entire sales cycle, from lead identification to contract negotiations and closing.
• Ability to engage with board-level contacts and develop a network of senior and middle management relationships to establish long-lasting trusted partnerships.
• Preferred experience working for a Medical Device Manufacturer both in the field and at the corporate headquarters.
• Proven ability to manage a balanced pipeline of both short-term tactical opportunities and long-term strategic engagements.
• Sales value experience of $250,000 or more in single and multi-year contracts.
• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple clients effectively while creating strategic and tactical customer plans.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, forecasting, and sales opportunity management.
• Knowledge of the healthcare sector or evidence of successful transition into a new market sector.
• Experience negotiating Master Service Agreements is highly preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office for professional client communications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interpret and present complex concepts clearly.
• Proactive, self-motivated, flexible, and accountable, with a commitment to driving positive client satisfaction.
• Ability to foster strong internal relationships and collaborate effectively to deliver client engagements and project execution.
• Fluency in English is a must.
