This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prepare and assess monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules across various general ledger accounts, such as Cash, Prepaids, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Leases, Investments, Payroll, and other balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Collaborate across departments with FP&A, Payroll, PeopleOps, Legal, and other business stakeholders to guarantee the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial information.
• Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes by analyzing financial results, investigating variances and discrepancies, and ensuring precise financial reporting.
• Conduct flux and variance analyses on key accounts, utilizing data analytics and AI-enabled tools to uncover trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
• Recognize and implement process enhancements, automation opportunities, and internal control improvements to boost efficiency, accuracy, and scalability within the accounting department.
• Aid in external audits, special projects, system implementations, and other accounting initiatives as required.
• Over 5 years of experience in general ledger accounting or a comparable role, preferably in a high-growth SaaS environment.
• A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is advantageous.
• A solid understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• High proficiency in Excel and comfortable handling large datasets; familiarity with AI-enabled tools is a plus.
• Practical experience with ERP systems; NetSuite is preferred.
• Strong critical thinking abilities with a proven history of identifying discrepancies and driving process enhancements.
• Outstanding attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining proper audit-ready documentation for all entries.
• Capability to work independently, juggle multiple priorities, and meet tight month-end deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring current or future employer sponsorship.
