This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Supervise the planning, budgeting, and scheduling for network expansion, modernization, consolidation, and enhancement.
• Identify the best network distribution strategies based on demand, infrastructure, funding, and expected growth.
• Evaluate existing demand, geospatial information, analytics, and forecasts to implement effective network solutions.
• Design, develop, and refine internal tools that support Joint Use operations and compliance requirements.
• Lead the implementation and transition to JU360, PowerApps, and integrations with platforms such as Site Tracker, IQGEO, DPI, Qport, AldenOne, NJUNS, and others.
• Oversee and create automation solutions to optimize workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
• Develop and execute training programs along with training dashboards.
• Manage timelines, deliverables, and communication with stakeholders for internal tool projects.
• Create Tableau and other dashboards and reports to monitor performance, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Track KPIs and present findings and progress to the Senior Leadership Team.
• Identify process inefficiencies and opportunities to enhance workflows and ensure data integrity.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
• Perform various other tasks as necessary to support the organization and its evolving needs.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience is necessary.
• Comprehensive understanding of access networks, including FTTP/FTTN, BBDLC, Ethernet services, feeder/distribution systems, customer premises solutions, MDU/MTU solutions, SONET, wireless, and transport/data dependencies.
• Experience with Outside Plant (OSP) architectures, which encompass underground, direct buried, aerial, and building applications.
• Profound knowledge of PON architectures, including centralized and distributed split, greenfield MDU/SFU, and inside wiring solutions.
• Familiarity with network components related to FTTP, FTTN, xPON, BDLC, TDM, G.Hn, broadband services, and Active Ethernet solutions.
• Understanding of CPE solutions.
• GIS experience with platforms like ArcGIS and QGIS.
• Knowledge of CAD-based drawing systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with analytics tools such as Alteryx and Tableau.
• Understanding of LEAN principles.
