Senior Functional Leader, Enterprise Data Management

📋 Description

• Define and manage metadata (data definitions and structures) across workflows, automation, and AI-driven processes to ensure uniform and controlled system behavior.

• Establish standards for the design, reuse, and lifecycle management of system configurations across Salesforce and integrated platforms.

• Lead data conversion as a business function rather than merely a technical task.

• Collaborate with regions to enhance data assessment, profiling, cleansing, and enrichment initiatives.

• Oversee object mapping from legacy systems to Salesforce and downstream platforms, ensuring that decisions support operational continuity, auditability, and reporting integrity.

• Manage the comprehensive governance of system configuration changes, including intake, prioritization, impact assessment, and release management.

• Ensure full traceability of metadata changes, documenting who made changes, when they were made, and why they were necessary.

• Govern AI agents (e.g., Agentforce) to guarantee their actions are predictable, explainable, and consistent with business rules.

• Provide oversight over data conversion activities to ensure alignment between metadata structures, data models, and migration logic.

• Act as the governance liaison to IT and platform teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.

• 7+ years of additional experience in cross-functional operations supporting IT projects, particularly in Data Conversion and Master Data Management (MDM).

• Demonstrated experience in leading Master Data Management (MDM) and data conversion for large-scale ERP or Salesforce transformations.

• Strong functional knowledge of customer, intercompany, and vendor data domains.

• Proven ability to collaborate with Data Lake/Analytics teams to maintain KPI continuity during system transitions.

• Capacity to engage deeply with data, processes, and technology to identify practical, value-driven AI use cases within the Salesforce enterprise.
